Assam House is located on Stakesby Road, a charming suburban location
on the Western side of town .It is about 5 minutes walk to the West Cliff and sea front.
It is also within easy walking distance( about 10 minutes) to the town center.
However,If you don't feel like walking, there is a local bus stop right outside the guest house. (Route 92 Arriva).Please click on the links below to download a copy of the bus route.
Parking is available outside the Guest House. We do not offer private parking though there is plenty of on road parking outside the Guest House.
Amenities like shops(Lidl,Spar),petrol station and cash machine are situated
at the top of the road.
We are a strictly non-smoking establishment.
Your host at Assam House is Dave Heselton, Dave is from a long line of Whitby seafarers that have been Mariners, Master Mariners, Naval Officers, fishermen and lifeboat men.
